Minute Move Me PSA

This project is a 1 minute PSA video that tells a story about the consequences of playing with lasers. This project was made for my media production class, Comm Arts 355. The goal for this project was to create a PSA that highlighted the lives of people who are visually impaired while also being light hearted and not too serious, my task was to be the director, cinematographer, and editor for this project. This project took about a week to plan and prepare for, getting the script in order, getting the equipment I needed for it, finding locations and actors to shoot with, and then completing the project took a weekend, preparing the set for shooting, directing the actor, setting up and tearing down equipment, and uploading, organizing, and editing all the footage. From this project I learned about the importance, or absence of, good lighting. I also learned about skills in directing, being able to articulate my creative vision while collaborating with an actor to bring it to fruition.
